As the two major information processing terminal hardwares that are widely used in the modern era, I believe that many people have such doubts. Why is it that the two functions are similar? Why can't one of them replace the other? In particular, we must use mobile phones in our daily lives, but in the production work, we need to use industrial equipment separately, which is considered by many people to cause unnecessary costs. This is indeed the case. The same equipment can't be used in two industries at this stage. So, will the smartphone replace the handheld terminal one day? Or will the two achieve a combination of one? At present, what are the problems faced by handheld terminals including RFID handsets and our communication equipment on the road of integration?
With the continuous development of technology, everything can be achieved in a single way, and the ability to quickly improve operation and efficiency has become the ultimate pursuit of equipment. Therefore, handheld terminals such as mobile phones and RFID handsets will be combined in a certain period of time in the future. Two for one has become an inevitable trend. However, at this stage, due to the immature technical means and the different situations in the application, it has not been realized. The following problems mainly exist:
1. Functionality is targeted. Due to the different development directions between the two, the emergence of new market differentiation has gradually delayed the integration. When we buy a mobile phone, we will pay attention to the fashion and some daily functions and visual experience of its appearance. When choosing a handheld terminal device, we tend to focus more on its quality protection and function realization. This has led to the premise of the existence of a fit between the two but has been marginalized, and there is no real progress. However, some mobile phones have a certain loophole in the solution of the functions of the handheld terminal or the RFID handset, and cannot meet the actual needs of the industry.
2. Module differences. I believe that many operators who use RFID handsets or handheld terminals know that we can often choose different modules for functional requirements. Professional modules will bring dozens of operating efficiencies. For example, the scanning and decoding functions of mobile phones often require focus scanning and decoding, and the speed is 3~6S, while the professional scanning modules such as the Speedata handheld terminal decode speeds up to 0.1. S. At this stage, the development of hardware level is not enough to shrink a module into our mobile phone, especially the ultra-thin design of the current mobile phone is limiting this combination development.
